Welcome to the Central Pennsylvania Conference website! We’re glad you’re here! As you browse through this website I hope you will catch the excitement we feel about our local churches, our districts and conference and about The United Methodist Church. We are truly taking leaps of faith in order to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
As we move toward another Annual Conference we are |
“Going to Galilee.” When Jesus appeared to the women as the risen Christ, he told them to instruct the disciples to go to Galilee. It was there that they, too, encountered the risen Christ. We are committed to taking a “leap of faith”, to do whatever it takes to reach out to our communities and beyond in order to also encounter Christ in the people and settings in which we do ministry.
If you are looking for a church home, we invite you to click on “church locater” to find one of the 800 Central Pennsylvania United Methodist churches near you. There is a place for you where you can experience God’s love and grace and find a way to make a difference in the world. We offer many doors through which you can enter into a fuller life through the church.
May you be held in God’s care on the journey!
